Learning, it is all a gift

The joy shows that you are still there

The you that was gifted to the world

The pain shows that things matter

That there is something of substance

To care about, to put your energy into

For love is not ecstasy at every turn

Though ecstasy should be found

Love is the total, the whole

And always worth it

Always
