Remove the layers...but shackets are cool
Remove the layers...but shackets are cool

You fight to keep the layers

Those pieces that protect your heart

Keep you warm

Feeling valuable, normal, real

Holding what you wanted to believe

To become, to be

But it must happen

Each button undone

Zipper yanked down

Sleeve pulled away

Buckle knocks the floor

The last thinnest sheer ripped away

For you didn’t have the courage yourself

Yet you still hold onto hope

That even this, what’s left

Just the you that was since the first

And will be till the last

Is enough

And the mind-f of it all

Is that it is, and always was

That’s the beauty of Love

And coffee
